My questionnaire has allowed me to develop a clearer understanding about my target audience and enabled me to make better decisions when it comes to designing and producing my product. I am aware of who would be interested in buying different genres of music magazines and what sort of features attracts hem to the product and make it sell better. Tis is useful to know n the music magazine industry as it's a very competitive area and important that your product appeals to the target audience. I understand now that for the age group 16-17, R&B, indie, and rock music are the most popular. This is clear through my questionnaire and I have developed a key understanding as to which features work best on the existing products of these genres.

R&B Focus Group
After I decided t change the genre of my product to R&B from pop, I decided to redo my focus group with the new cloud them and name dead to ensure I use the most appealing features on my product. Equally, I feel the target audience of an R&B product is more accessible to me from my surroundings so I will be able to understand more about how to make a product appropriate to R&B audiences than pop audiences.
