My original google image.
My mock up cover page.
I have edited the image and manipulated the colours, equally i have created lots of different music magazine conventions including a masthead, feature stories, barcode, plug, tag tine, banner, and date and price to make my cover.
My Mock Up Contents Page.
I have continued the house style of my cover and included contents page conventions such as; images, titles, feature stories, page numbers, and and exclusive feature.
My Mock Up Double Page Spread.
On my double page spread I have also continued the house style from my cover and contents page, including other conventions such as; title, page number, main image, article, drop cap, and an introductory sentence to establish what the article is about.
Whilst creting my magazine i have made the dicision to change the genre of music i want my product to represent from ~OP to R&B as through creating my colour scheme and house style i am now able to visualize how the product could appeal to an older target audience, both male and female, representing the R&B genre of music. the visual aspect of my product does not fit in with the conventions of pop music, therefore I am going to aim my magazine at an older audience interseted in R&B. Equally I have realised I do not feel that the conventions included in pop would not show the featre stories in the way I wish to put them across to my audience, and I have now decided through my audience research that R&B is a type of music more fitting with my styles, ideology and colours. I have made my mock up to establish my final ideas before producing my music magazine.
